Passion Over Experience

One thing that I’ve noticed about quite a few of the people who start successful businesses or do important work: A lot of them don’t have much formal business experience.
If you’re really passionate about something, you’ll figure out how to make it work (you’ll work harder because it doesn’t actually feel like work). Passion often trumps actual experience.

Nintendo President Cuts Salary in Half

Nintendo is stumbling somewhat. On Thursday, the company reported a second quarter net loss of $324 million, its worst profit margin in 27 years.
Following this news, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced that he is cutting his own salary by 50%, with company directors and executives agreeing to 30% and 20% pay cuts respectively.
